We are respectful of each person’s comfort level with sharing your story and offer participants several options of participation:

  • online via email or website-text only

Propose a Project

Memory War Theater is interested in collaborating with other community organizations and groups.  If you have an idea for an interactive theater project, collaboration or a community based arts project we would love to hear from you.  We enjoy meeting with community members who have a creative project idea and figuring out a way to bring it to life.

Past community based projects have included:

Process for proposing a project

Phase 1: Email us a short summary of the proposed project. Memory War staff will respond with information about whether this type of project fits with our mission and vision and if we have the expertise to carry it out.

Phase 2: Meeting with Memory War program staff to discuss logistics of the project and see how we might be able to work together to build the project and what resources we will need to accomplish the project.

Phase 3: Meeting and connecting with other potential program partners, developing a funding strategy for the project, and commencing program planning.

 Volunteer

If you are interested in community-based theater, social justice, physical theater and transformational experiences consider volunteering with Memory War Theater.  We are always looking for volunteers to help with artistic consultation, administrative tasks, fundraising, staffing events, interviewing and transcription and documentation.  We consult with all volunteers to make a good match with what each person is interested in learning or doing and your area of expertise.

Audition

Memory War Theater attends the Theater Puget Sound Unified General Auditions.  We also hold auditions for upcoming projects.  If you are interested in auditioning please contact us to find out when the next auditions will be held.
